Lean Improvement Manager

Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy focussing on highways maintenance.

The Lean Improvement Manager will be responsible for facilitating the development of processes and systems which lead to improvements in strategy and operational effectiveness and efficiency against contractual requirement and business needs through measurement, analysis, reporting and structured process improvement activities.

The role includes coaching manager, Supervisors and Team leaders in the application of "Lean" process improvement tools.

Main responsibilities include

Ensure safe working practice

Ensure implementation of the continual improvement process

Encourage a culture of innovation

Facilitate the identification of improvement opportunities in particular those which support delivery of the efficiency plan

Lead and coach improvement teams to deliver agreed targeted benefits

Organise and assist with the running of lean improvement events, workshops and training

Support the design and deployment of data collection, analysis and reporting processes, systems and procedures


Educated to degree level

Knowledge of quality systems and management

Lean green belt six sigma Practioneer (Level 4)

Experience in Performance Management and Continual Improvement Process
