An exciting new opportunity has arisen within Chester, Cheshire for an experienced Structural AutoCAD Technician preferably with a variety of design experience to join the team of a small, very established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.

This is an excellent role for an experienced AutoCad technician, who is looking to move into a vibrant and lively engineering consultancy. Ideally, you will be HND/ HNC qualified and have at least 5 years' experience within a building structures role or similar role. Revit experience is beneficial but not essential.

Projects you can expect to be involved in include; residential, commercial, conservation and property development projects.

Working as a Structural AutoCAD Technician you will be;

  • Assisting with the preparation of and understanding of structural AutoCAD drawings.
  • Producing accurate models, drawings and schedules in accordance to the project specifications.
  • Taking part in key project control procedures such as drawing issue and registrations.
  • Liaise with other members of the team to understand the requirements of the project and possibly mentor junior members of staff.
