Associate (Flood Risk and Drainage)- Bristol
My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil, Drainage and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for an experienced Principal/Associate level Engineer to manage and expand their Flood Risk and Drainage Team based in Bristol.
It is essential that applicants are chartered engineers who have vast experience managing and completing Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage and Civil Engineering Projects for Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers.
Applicants are also required to have experience completing bid proposals, managing Projects, mentoring team members and completing and checking technical work including Flood Risk Assessment, Surface Water Management Plans, Drainage Strategy and detailed Drainage Design using Microdrainage or AutoCAD.
it is also essential for applicants to have the drive to develop new business opportunities, manage projects and mentor, develop and expand the team.
As a Principal/Associate Engineer you will be required to develop, expand, manage and mentor the existing team of specialists, check technical designs and managing varied Flood Risk, Drainage and Pre-Planning Projects for Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Local Authorities ensuring Projects are completed to time and budget.
You will also be expected to develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients in the South West.
Successful candidates will also be required to complete technical work including;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-SuDS, Sewerage and Residential Drainage Design using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller.
-Prepare bid proposals and develop new business opportunities with both Public and Private Sector Clients.
