Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer- Norwich
My client, a specialist UK based Civil Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Structural, Civil and Environmental Engineering, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Design Engineer to join an established team of Engineers based in Norwich.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Consultant and SuDS, Sewerage or pipeline designs using AutoCAD or Microdrainage.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller, Tuflow or Hec-Ras.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied scale Residential, Commercial and Industrial Development Projects for Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Local Authorities.
You will also have the opportunity to part manage projects, liaise with Clients and complete technical work including;
-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
-Surface Water Drainage Strategy.
-SuDS, Attenuation Ponds, Residential Drainage and Pipeline Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage for Residential and Commercial Development Projects.
-Drainage Area Planning.
-Optioneering and Solution Development for Sewerage Networks.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller.
