Civil Engineering Operatives
The Role – Responsible for carrying out site operations on a day by day basis ensuring the works are undertaken safely and on time.
Key Tasks –
- Laying drainage
- Laying Kerbs
- Concrete finishing
Personal Skills –
- 5-10 years’ experience in Earthworks/Grading, drainage, minor concrete works and or paving works.
- Is punctual and reliable
- Good communication skills.
- Be a keen self-starter with a good work ethic.
- The desire to both develop personally and mentor/develop others.
- Teamworking skills.
- Work safely and efficiently to the right quality standard.
- Appropriate and presentable appearance.

We have forged strong partnerships with leading synthetic turf manufacturers to provide new and innovative synthetic grass surfaces for leading sports clubs, universities, schools and colleges and have built a reputation for delivering high quality all-weather 3G sports pitch installations on time and on budget.
We work closely with our clients to make sure we stay focused on their specific needs and always fully comply with FIFA, FIH, RFU, World Rugby and IAAF requirements.
Working in partnership with TigerTurf UK, McArdle Sport Tec are only one of only six contractors who have been selected by The Football Association and furthermore one of two contractors selected on the Rugby Football Union to support their framework for the supply and installation of artificial grass pitches. The four-year framework aims to vastly improve the quality of 3G WR Reg 22 and FIFA accredited pitches installed throughout the UK.
