Highways Design Engineer
Pay Band 17 - £34,798 to £40,450 per annum
About the Role
The Department of Infrastructure, Highway Services, would like to recruit a Highways Design Engineer to work on all aspect of highway design, construction and project management with the Department's Design Section.
You will be qualified to MEng at 2:1 or better in Civil Engineering, preferable with 2 to 5 years’ experience in the design of highways. You will be required to achieve Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers and obtain Chartered Engineer status under the Department’s Approved Training Agreement within 4-5 years of appointment.
The approved training agreement will provide the necessary offsite training to achieve the required continued professional development (CPD) days necessary for chartered status.
A full valid driving licence is essential for this post.
