We have an exciting opportunity to join our team, working within the Southern England & Wales Division as MEICA Engineer. To report to the Divisional Operations Manager in all aspects of MEICA Engineering in Pre-construction and Project support, mainly to support the teams delivering works for the Environment Agency. Ideally you will live in the SE England / East Anglia area and will be able to work on projects throughout this region.

• Early involvement
• MEICA design/ advice
Technical Lead for
• Client contact and liaison
• Tender optioneering
• Design meetings
• Site teams permanent & temporary works
First contact for
• Client technical queries
• Site teams technical support
• Company procedures and relevant government legislation
• Design standards & methods
• BIM methods and procedures
• Commercial and risk awareness
• Contract forms
• Environment Agency Minimum Technical Requirements
• Site Teams
• Environment Agency
• Design Consultants
People management - Build strong relationships across the Division and supply chain to achieve compliance. Represent the Company on various external forums. Undertake project site audits, inspect MEICA installation and design compliance and provide encouragement and advice.
Provide coaching, training and support as required.
Who are we looking for?
KEY SKILLS ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE:
Practical knowledge and application of EA Minimum Technical Requirements, as applicable to MEICA design and installation across a broad range of water control structures. Excellent communication skills for meetings & presentations with senior management. First class collaboration skills. Passionate about Continual Improvement and Customer Satisfaction.
