The TRU West Alliance is delivering a key part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU), a multi-billion pound investment programme that will increase capacity and provide space for millions more passengers in the north every year. The TRU West Alliance is responsible for this transformation between Leeds and Manchester Victoria. This role will be based in the Leeds office.

Your mission

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with considerable Rail Experience to look at an early package of work we are soon to deliver at teh Hill House Sidings in Huddersfield as part of the TRU Programme.

The main duties are listed:

• Manage the overall delivery of the stabling facility and temporary platform/station through GRIP 4-8
• Manage and coordinate multi disciplines throughout the design and delivery process
• Liaison with and coordinate interaction between design, construction, consents, integration and TOC
• Ensure all planning conditions are met and adhered to
• Be responsible for managing budgets, including preparation of future section proposals
• Develop and manage the detailed delivery programmes and report on milestones
• Produce periodic reports capturing all the above

Who are we looking for?

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
• Degree, HND in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience working as PM or Senior Agent with Civil Engineering contracting. Experience in the rail environment would be beneficial.
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership and management capabilities commensurate with such a role.
• Detailed working knowledge of the civils construction environment and forms of contract used.
• Experience of working in project development and delivery (Design & Build).
