Job summary

As Project Manager within Marine Civils Structural, your role will be to lead on a number of high complexity, high value projects across the port estate. This will be across both our existing portfolio and the creation of new structures. You will have had experience across maritime and civil structures projects, with knowledge and experience of the statutory and regulatory regimes around marine licence approvals.

The current programme in has a pipeline in excess of £175million. You will have demonstratable previous experience in a leadership role across contracting, client side and consultancy.

You will be accountable for leading on simultaneous projects from inception through to completion, engaging with the business sponsors, internal stakeholder groups, external stakeholder groups, government and regulatory bodies.

You will have previously managed projects across integrated teams, including internal and consultancy resources, ensuring robust controls and governance processes are implemented early. Onboarding project team members from across the business, and external resources and teams from our consultants’ frameworks

Skills and Qualifications

BSc/BEng (or higher) in a relevant engineering discipline essential, preferably chartered

Master’s degree in business, Engineering or Project management

Project Management Professional Qualification from an industry recognised professional body

Demonstratable experience fulfilling the role of the Project Manager under the NEC form of contracts

Good experience with MS Office 365

Extensive demonstrable experience delivering projects of a similar or higher level of complexity, risk and value

A demonstrable understanding of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety Legislation

Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
