Senior Highways Design Engineer
Pay Band 21 - £40,450 - £47,064 per annum
About the Role
The Senior Highway Engineer’s role will be to work within the Department of Infrastructure, Highway Services Division in the Isle of Man Government. The post holder will be part of an experienced team that works to develop and improve the highway network on the island.
The work will include feasibility stage, design and delivery of highways projects. They will also assist and be responsible for ensuring that projects are carried out safely, to specification and within the time and budget constraints.
The post holder is required to have qualified with a Masters in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 5-10 years of design experience. They will be required to be a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or working towards Chartered status.
A full valid driving licence is essential for this post.
