Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer- Bristol
My Client, a specialist UK based Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their team of specialists based in Bristol.
Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy and detailed Drainage, SuDS and Sewerage designs for S104 and S106 for Residential and Commercial Developments using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Hydraulic Modelling and have experience completing Surface Water Management Plans.
As a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will have the opportunity to join a supportive Team of Engineers in Bristol. You will work on varied Flood Risk, Surface Water and Drainage and Civil Engineering Projects for Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments for Housing Developers, Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.
As a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Drainage Strategy and detailed SuDS and Residential Drainage Design using Microdrainage and AutoCAD for S104 and S106.
-3D Cutting Ponds and Levels.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Catchment Management Plans.
-Civil Engineering Design using PDS and AutoCAD.
-Flood Estimation using FEH.
-Frequent liaison with Private and Public Sector Clients.
