Project/Civil Engineer

Salary Range £51,300pa to £ 58,390 per annum inclusive (Starting Salary dependant on experience)

The City of London has a rare opportunity for a Civil/Structural engineer to join its small but dedicated engineering team, who look after the Corporations engineering assets.

Working with consultants to inspect and maintain the Corporations pipe subways, highway structures, bridges, including five river crossings, and our statutory reservoirs, we are looking for a qualified engineer to join the team.

This position will primarily be responsible of looking after Technical Approvals submissions, and abnormal load requests, the postholder will also have opportunities to manage their own engineering projects.

We are looking for a Chartered Engineer, who has the knowledge and ability to manage Technical Approval applications, and project manage. You will need to have a strong track record to manage a varied workload, act on behalf of the Corporation, communicate effectively, prepare reports and manage budgets.
