Senior Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Senior Management position reporting directly to Senior Project Director
• Lead a team of 60+ Design Managers, Design Coordinators, Engineers, Architects and BIM Modellers
• Develop implementation plan and strategy for the Project Engineering Team
• Manage selection, procurement and delivery of external Consultants
• Monitor performance and progress of Engineering Team
• Develop and manage delivery programme of Engineering Team
• Ensure Engineering deliverables are delivered in line with the delivery schedule
• Manage quality and safety of design and its implementation on site
• Manage interface between Engineering Team and Construction Team
• Think innovatively to overcome challenges and develop engineering solutions
• Manage project risk and opportunity
• Liaise with Client Project Management and Consultant Team
• Liaise with Statutory Authorities / Independent Checking Engineer

Job Requirement:

• Degree holder in Structural / Civil / MEP Engineering or equivalent
• Chartered Engineer or other equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 25 years of relevant industry experience
• Minimum 10 years previous Contractor experience
• 5 years Hospital engineering management experience (preferred)
• International working experience is preferred
