Senior Telecommunications Engineer

The Department of Culture, Communications and Sport (DCCS) has a diverse business agenda and is organised into five Divisions including the Communications Division. The Strategy Development and Business Management (SDBM) Unit within the Communications Division supports strategy and policy development and provides technical advice for priority areas of the Department.

The Department currently has a vacancy for a Senior Telecommunications Engineer (Assistant Principal Officer) in the SDBM Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and committed individual with the relevant qualifications and experience to contribute to the Communications landscape in Ireland.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Senior Telecommunications Engineer will provide technical advice on specific policy matters within the Unit and provide strategic, proactive, future facing advice and information on wider digital market and technology developments.
