EPC-UK Ltd. Is currently expanding its operations, engineering and technical staff working in the drill and blast operations in the UK and has vacancies for the following:

Junior Sales Executive (Midlands based, nationwide coverage): to support the sales and service delivery goals of the various EPC-UK divisions including implementing growth plans for EPC Metrics, a division of the business focused on delivering value in engineering and technical services. The role requires a technical mindset with commercial focus, previous experience in explosives, quarrying, mining, or construction industries desirable but not essential. Applicants should hold a degree in a relevant discipline and have an understanding of commercial and business processes. Opportunities for the successful candidate to grow and develop with the business.

Explosive Technician (Metrics) (North / Midlands) – to support the delivery of Metrics Engineering Services conducting and administering machine assessments, calibrations, and services (both in the field and at base).   Working in collaboration with Engineering Team supporting provision of kit and services to customers including but not limited to drone flights, seismograph installations / servicing, other monitoring kit and equipment installations and support.   Applicants should be educated to A Level in a relevant science or engineering discipline.

Shotfirers (Nationwide Opportunities) are required for quarry contracts.  Applicants need to be QCF qualified and willing to travel / work away if required.

Driller (Midlands) & Driller (North Wales) are required for quarry contracts throughout the UK.  Experience on Atlas Copco / Sandvik rigs is preferable but not essential.  Applicants will preferably be QCF qualified and willing to travel / work away if required.

Multiblend Multiskilled Operators (Nationwide) are required for product delivery to quarry contracts throughout the UK.   Applicants will need a minimum HGV Class 2 licence.  Operators assist Shotfiring teams and customers on site both delivering product and producing and maintain detailed accurate record of products supplied and used.

Apprentices / Trainees – we would also be interested in hearing from candidates who are looking for a career in Drilling / Blasting.  Full apprenticeship / training package available.
