Technical Associate Director
My client, an established UK based multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy is seeking an ambitious Geo Environmental Associate Director to manage a team, near Kidderminster.
This exciting opportunity will enable the successful candidate to run a busy office, contribute to business development, prepare bids, write technical reports and manage a wide variety of projects for a multitude of clients including Local Authorities and residential developments.
The successful candidate will have Chartered status and have substantial relevant experience and a strong academic background in Geology or Civil Engineering. Additionally, holding a Masters in a related technical discipline will be beneficial.
In order to be considered, candidates must have good technical knowledge, experience of completing quantitative risk assessments and knowledge of contaminated land assessments.
Within this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Attending sites away from the office
- Completing Contaminated Land Assessments
- Carrying out Quantitative Risk Assessments
- Site reclamation and remediation
- Business development
- Preparing bids
- Client liaisons
- Managing a team
- Writing technical reports
- Managing a broad variety of projects, including land reclamation schemes and consolidation of mineworkings and shafts
- Conducting Geoenvironmental Site Investigations
