Graduate Civil Engineer- Oxford **Flood Risk and Drainage**
My client, a market leading UK Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join an established Engineering Team based in Oxford.
It is essential that applicants have a FdSc, BSc and/or MSc or PhD in Civil or Coastal Engineering and have a keen interest in Flood Risk, Flood Defence, Surface Water and Drainage Engineering.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience working for a Local Authority or Consultancy completing or reviewing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy or SuDS design using AutoCAD or Microdrainage.
This exciting Graduate role will offer candidates the chance to join a supportive team based in Oxford.
Successful candidates will be required to work Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage, Civil and Geotechnical Engineering Projects for Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments for Housing Developers, Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.
As a Graduate Engineer you will be trained by Specialist Engineers to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Flood Alleviation Schemes.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Civil Engineering Design using AutoCAD.
-Detailed SuDS Design using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
-Foul Drainage and Utility Assessments.
-Phase 1 Geo-environmental Appraisals.
